Hi Michael, I was recently taken on a guided surf tour with you’re company in Bali and used one of youre boards, a 7’0 or 7’2 (cant remember) kazuma surfboard, I was just wondering if you could send me the specs as I would like to get a similar board shaped. Also Uchil was my guide and I wanted to say that he did a great job and I had a blast, he was excellent, got me into so many waves that I wouldnt have gotten on my own, was constantly looking out for me making sure I was ok, was constantly getting me into the perfect position to catch the best waves and also brought a great vibe into the lineup and was very friendly, just wanted to commend him on his job, will definately be using you guys next time im in bali, cheers! Regards, Rene  20th January 2014

Hi Mike,

I trust the World Safaris Bali team are well.

Mike, just a short note of thanks for your team in making my surf experience memorable over the last 2 weeks.

Putu & Eddy were great fun and I have recommended that Mark Webber of the Red Bull F1 team spends time with Eddy over the xmas break to improve some driving skills in heavy traffic!!!!

Big thanks to Puto, what a great kid, he put me into perfect waves with limited crowds everyday, (I think the busiest was 9 guys out at “secret spot”) plus taking us off the beaten track and showing us more of the real Bali, his knowledge of the best available waves every morning was very much appreciated and the best line up positioning was certainly a huge advantage in such big waves while we were there…for the record, the first 7 days Magic Seaweed called it between 8ft - 9.5ft @17 sec….PUMPING!!!!!!!

Thanks again Mike, see you, Putu & Eddy in May next year.

Putu - I’m bringing a 6’5 for “secret spot” man.

I have copied in a mate of mine who I insist books a couple of days with the boys, he will be staying at Sanur Beach Hotel – Dave Edwards.

Hi Michael,

Had a great time in Bali over xmas and new years period.. great waves. 10 days of surf guiding. So much fun, so keen to get back already, the guides and drivers were great fun and so helpful with everything eg. Surf and Things you need to know about Bali. Putu was a dead set LEGEND more like a Surf Coach then a guide, he helped my surfing so much.. Thanks again everyone at World Surfaris Bali
See you soon  Richie McGee  (6th January 2013)

    Hi There,

I looking at heading to Bali for a short 10 day trip in a month or two.
I am extremely keen to get some quality waves while i’m there. The problem is I will be heading over with my Girlfriend.
I was hoping you could recommend somewhere to stay where she could entertain herself either shopping, sunbaking etc while I sneak off for a couple of hours and get some waves.
Could you also recommend a land based surf guide company that would be able to pick me up from my accommodation and get me to where the waves are firing.

    Kind Regards, Josh

Hi Peter, All depends on where you are coming from.. I know from Australia – GARUDA will take WaveSki (surf skis) i reccommend under 7 foot… they allow 15 kilograms of sporting equipment. No chance of local hire… let me know what type of accommodation you are after or at least what you want from your accommodation and i can give you our best options…. our BALI FULLY GUIDED SURFING page is the best option by far for finding the best waves of the day.

      Hi Maxwell,

Wave skis are impossible to hire in Bali. You would really have to bring it up yourself. I have sussed things out and it is impossible for me to find a place that hires waveskis.

Don’t suppose you want to learn to surf? haha

If you can get your ski up here we can definitely help you out in getting you waves..

      kind regards

I am travelling to Bali in early December with the family and want to do a day or 2 of surfing. I am debating whether to bring my board or hire one from you. Can you advise the quality of your board selection. For me – something about 6’6 with plenty of volume?

Also can you advise cost for 1 day?

    Hi Micheal
I will be in Bali for 2 weeks in May staying at the Intercon with the family. Would you know if you can catch boats from there out to airports and or around to balangan?

      Hi Paul,

Thanks for your email.. Mate as i know .. there are no options at that end of Jimbaran Bay.. if you go up the other end about 2 km.. then you can get boats to anywhere, just depends on the prices etc… Remember you could always use our Bali Fully Guided private surf trips and not have to worry about it… hope this helps you out.. (p.s. i heard Intercon is going to be under renovations middle of this year..)
