Hi all,
Just got back from North Sumatra spent 1 week on the island with Shaun Levings (World Surfaris – www.worldsurfaris.com), Bertie, Gibbo, Chris, Pancho and Andy and crew.  It was amazing to see the great work Surf Aid and all those other NGO that helped out with the Tsunami Releif.. There are new houses everywhere. As nearly all the dwelling close to the beach were destroyed.. The roads are great.. even better than Bali..lol..  The surf was uncrowded and just what i was looking for. Warm waters, no crowds, great hosts and best of all super chilled…  Here are some photos of some of the waves we surfed. We took boats out to other smaller islands where there was some hard core waves for the highly experienced it was cranking 8 – 10 foot and nearly sucking dry.. (great to watch LOL). And then back on the main island we had waves 3 to 6 foot for the last 4 days..There was a great range of waves to be had.. something for everyone.  All in all would love to go back, now knowing what it is all about. I am confident that all our guests that are wanting to get some of it will be satisfied with this Aceh Surfari..
